Cloth Trade.

L. 1. B. FOR the true Making of all Sorts of Woollen Cloths, and of Alneging, Sealing, and Transporting of the same.

Recusants, &c. not to be in Parliament.

L. 1. Nova. B. For disabling of Recusants, Persons attainted of Forgery and Perjury, Outlaws, and Contemners of the Laws, to be of the Parliament.

Religion, &c.

The Committee touching Matters of Religion, &c. upon Sir Francis Hastings his Motion, to meet this Afternoon in the Exchequer Chamber.

Wyndsor Deanery, &c.

B. For assuring divers Lands and Tenements to the Dean and Canons of Wyndsor, reported from the Committee by Mr. Francis Moore, with some Alteration, by way of Omission , and the Bill, upon Question, so altered, ordered to be ingrossed.

Limitation of Prescription.

B. For Limitation of Prescription, &c. new intituled, B. That Rent-Charges, Formdons in dicender, Nativo habendo, and Copyholds, shall be within the Statute, reported by Mr. Moore from the Committee, with Amendments.

A Proviso for Mr. Nevill, offered by Mr. Martin ; which was twice read; and the Bill, with the Proviso, recommitted to the former Committee, with these added; Mr. Edward Francis, Sir Robert Wingfield, Mr. Solicitor, Sir John Thynne, Sir Francis Bacon, Sir Francis Barrington[c].

Writs of Error.

B. To take away Writs of Error in certain Cases, reported from the Committee by Mr. Moore; and, upon the Question " [d] of Commitment," rejected.

E. of Southampton.

Mr. Speaker presenteth Thanks from the Earl of Southampton to the House, for their Favour and Readiness, passing the Bill of his Restitution.

Free Trade.

L. 2. B. For all Merchants to have free Liberty of Trade into all Countries, as is used in all other Nations: - Secondly read, and committed to Sir Edwyn Sandys, Sir Thomas Smyth, Mr. James, Mr. Recorder of London, Mr. Francis Moore, Mr. Cole, Mr. Dannett, Mr. Prowse, Sir John Jeffreyes, Mr. Martin, Sir Rich. Hawkins, Sir Geo. Moore, Sir Jerome Horsey, the Barons of the Cinque Ports, Mr. Bagge, the Citizens of all Cities, and Burgesses of Port Towns, Sir Thomas Ridgeway, Sir Robert Nappier, Mr. Lawrence Hyde, Sir William Strowd, Sir Tho. Lake, Sir Rob. Wroth, Sir Henry Nevill, Mr. Yelverton.

Message from the King-Union with Scotland.

Mr. Speaker delivereth from his Majesty, a Message ; Message containing (as he said) 1. A gracious Allowance. 2. A Desire. And, 3. An Admonition[e].

1. His Majesty, in the Matter of Union, alloweth Freedom and Liberty of Speech to all.

2. That at the Committee they would prepare themselves to speak freely, the Depth and innermost Conceit

of their Hearts; and that at the Conference they would admit of the Judges to attend.

3. That they would not resolve or determine of any thing, before they heard the Reasons at large.

L. 3. An Act touching Process and Pleadings in the Court of Exchequer, &c. - Thirdly read, and, upon the Question, passed.

Moved and Resolved, That Mr. Vice-chamberlain should present the humble Thanks of the House to his Majesty, for his late gracious Message.
