Persons who were acting as Commissioners of Sewers on 19 April, 1653, continued.

Be it Enacted by this present Parliament and the Authority thereof, That all and every such person and persons as on the Nineteenth day of April, One thousand six hundred fifty and three, did or might act as Commissioners of Sewers in any Counties, Cities, Precincts, Liberties or Places in England, Wales or Town of Berwick upon Tweed, shall by force hereof, and by Authority of this present Parliament, be, and shall be adjudged and taken to be Commissioners of Sewers of and in the said respective Counties, Cities, Precincts, Liberties or Places in England, Wales, and Town of Berwick upon Tweed: And so shall continue and be, until there shall be Commissioners under the Great Seal of England, for constituting of Commissioners of Sewers in the said Counties, Cities Precincts, Liberties or Places, respectively made, and duly issued forth.
