[1679, June ?] Request of the Keepers of the Council Chamber that, in regard that the Clerks of the Council got an addition to their salaries of 100l. per annum each for attending the Council for Trade and that the Keepers have only 2s. 6d. a day, their lordships would increase their allowance to 5s. a day, in regard of their constant attendance both at Council and the said Committee.
