That Thos. Lewis rode, armed, in Capt. Washbourne's troop, and was at the rendezvous at Pitchcroft, and being high constable of Dodingtree Hundred, issued warrants in the King's name, raising money by threats, &c.
That Nind was at Worcester with the King's army, sword and pistol in hand.
That Pennell was with the King, and also at the Pitchcroft rendezvous.

Rich. Shoard informs that Elizabeth, before her marriage, had a statute of 500l. on the lands of Wm. Gowen of Norrington, 2/3 of which are due to the State. Also that Thos. Gowen, of Norrington, owes Perkins 1,100l., for which his lands are mortgaged, and 2/3 thereof is forfeit. He begs examination of the debts, and a summons to the Cullefords and Perkins to show cause why 2/3 should not be paid to the State, on account of their recusancy, of which payment he asks 1/5 for his discovery. 164 76
