ORDERED, That Mr. Harris, and Mr. Obadiah
Sedgwick, who this Day, being the Day of the publick
Fast, at the Intreaty of the House of Commons, preached
at St. Margaret's, Westminster, shall have Thanks returned
them, for the great and worthy Pains they have taken:
And that they be desired to print their Sermons: And
that no Man shall presume to print them, but such as
they shall appoint, till the House shall take further Order.
Sir Gilbert Gerard and Sir Thomas Barrington are to
return the Thanks of this House to these Gentlemen.
Preachers appointed.
Ordered, That Dr. Gouge and Mr. Sedgewick of
Farneham in Essex shall be desired to preach before
the House of Commons the next Fast.
Sir Tho. Barrington is appointed to give Mr. Sedgwick Notice, and Sir Gilbert Gerrard to Dr. Gouge.
Ordered, That hereafter those of the Assembly shall
be desired to preach, at the Publick Fasts, before the
House of Commons.

Resolved, upon the Question, That * Crosse, the Alehousekeeper in Chancery-lane, shall be forthwith sent for,
as a Delinquent, by the Serjeant at Arms attending on
this House, for contemning and violating the Ordinance
of both Houses, to the which the King hath assented,
for observing a publick monthly Fast.
