Mr. Brooke chosen Speaker.

AND, after the Oration ended, the Worshipful Knights, Citizens, and Burgesses, went to the Common House; and there with one Voice did elect and choose the Right Worshipful and Worthy Mr. Robert Brooke, Servient at the Law, and Recorder of the City of London, to be their Mouth and Speaker.

Mr. Speaker presented to the Queen.

And on Friday next, Afternoon, Mr. Speaker made his ornate Oration before the Queen's Highness, the Lords and Commons in the Waiting-chamber at Whitehall, within the Palace of Westminster.
