Sharp, cartographer in the Faculty of Environment and Leisure, Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education; the original drafts were prepared by N. M. Herbert and A. R. J. Jurica and based on O. S. Maps 6" and 1/2,500 (1880s edns.). Fig. 18 was drawn by Carol Davidson Cragoe.
