B. TO avoid the Wasting of Wheat and other Grain, by making of it into Starch, reported from the Committee by Mr. Brook, with Amendments, and a Proviso; which being twice read; upon the Question, ordered to be ingrossed.

Bathyrst's Letters Patents.

B. For Confirmation of the King's Majesty's Letters Patents, made to Robert Bathyrst, Esquire, &c. being formerly stayed from Question, upon the Motion of Sir Nath. Bacon, to the end Notice might be given to Sir Chro. Heydon, whom it concerned, was now, (upon Testimony, that Sir Chro. was satisfied) without further Opening, put to Question, and, upon Question, passed.

Ramsden's Nat.

B. For the Naturalizing of John Ramsden, Gentleman, upon a Third Reading, and, upon Question, passed.

Conference.

Mr. Holt, according to former Order, reporteth the first Day's Conference touching the Point of Conveniency. - Quaere [c].

Sir John Tyndall and Mr. D. Hone, bring down from the Lords Two Bills; viz.

Sackvill's Patent.

1. B. Whereby Richard Sackvill, Esquire, is enabled to make a Surrender to the King's Majesty, of the Offices of Chief Butler of England and Wales, notwithstanding his Minority of Years.

2. B. Touching the drowned Marshes of Lesnes and Fantz, in the County of Kent.

Inconvenience at Conferences.

Mr. Recorder of London reporteth the second Day's Conference.

Touching the Point of Disease and pressing at Conferences, he related to the House the Speech of One Lord; viz.

That the Commons themselves would be sensible of their own Members, and give them what Ease they could. Upon the Hearing of this Report, sundry Courses were

moved, for further Proceeding. -

By Mr. Speaker:

1. Whether to deliberate a while.

2. To dispute it here.

3. To consider in Committee.

By another :

That the Stop is now on the Lords Part, and that we ought to hear from them first.

Which was thought fit, and so resolved.

Marshalsea Court.

Moved, that the Counsel for the Bill touching the Abuses of the Marshalsea, &c. now attending at the Door as they had often before done, to the great Charge of the Parties) might be heard: And some Difference arising upon the Motion; a Question was made, whether this Day, or Tomorrow Morning.

Injuries from Spaniards.

Mr. Fuller informeth, that, upon the last Meeting of the Committee, touching the Spanish Wrongs, &c. there was a special Sub-committee chosen, and directed to advise concerning the Grievances done to the Subjects of England by the Officers and Ministers of the King of Spaine, and of some Means for Redress.

The Names of the Sub-committee were, Sir Henry Nevill, Sir Edwyn Sandys, Sir John Hollis, Mr. Wilson, Sir Geo. Moore, Sir Robert Mansfield, Sir Rich. Hawkins, Mr. Dudley Carleton, Mr. Martin, Mr. Nanton, Mr. Fuller: Who, upon this Motion, were appointed to meet this Afternoon, and to attend their former Direction.
