Dies publicæ Humiliationis.

Preachers thanked.

ORDERED, That Mr. Poole and Mr. Rous do, from this House, give Thanks unto Mr. Wilkinson and Mr. Salloway, for the great Pains they took in the Sermons they preached this Day, at the Intreaty of this House, at St. Margaret's, Westminster, it being the Day of publick Humiliation; and to desire them to print their Sermons: And they are to have the like Privilege in the printing of them, as others in the like kind usually have had.

Preachers appointed.

Ordered, That Mr. Recorder and Mr. Stephens do desire Mr. Bridge and Mr. Mewes to preach before the Commons the next Fast-day, at St. Margaret's, Westminster.

Ordered, That Mr. Recorder, Mr. Wheeler and Mr. Bell, do take some Course that St. Margaret's, Westminster, may be furnished with godly Preachers on the Lord's-days, in the Afternoon.

Clsndestine Marriages.

Ordered, That it be referred to a Committee of this House for the Petition of the Assembly, to consider of some Course to prevent the Mischiefs that happen by clandestine Marriages, and by the marrying of People by Laymen.


Ordered, That the Opinion presented to the House from the Assembly, concerning the Antinomians, be returned to the Assembly; to review and enlarge; and that, after such Review and Enlargement, it be printed.
