PRAYERS.

The Covenant.

ORDERED, That a Roll be prepared with the Covenant entered; and that every Member of the House shall subscribe the Covenant after he has taken it: And that those Members of the House as shall not now take it at St. Margaret's, Westminster, shall take it when they come into the House, and subscribe their Names unto it: And the Lord Ruthen and Mr. Bond are appointed to put the House in mind, that the Members, as they come in, do take the Covenant, and subscribe, according to this Order.

Loan from the City.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed on Saturday last to go the Common Council, do go to the Common Council this Afternoon, at Three of Clock: And it is left to the Committee to manage the Proposition concerning the Thirty thousand Pounds for the Navy.

Morris' Petition.

Ordered, That the humble Petition of Wm. Morris Clerk, be referred to the Committee for plundered Ministers.

League and Covenant.

Ordered, That the Ministers in all the Parish Churches and Chapels of London, Westminster, Suburbs, and Liberties, and in all the Parishes within the Bills of Mortality, do read the solemn League and Covenant on Wednesday next, being the Day of publick Humiliation; and do explain it, and urge the Ground and Necessity of it; and exhort the People to the chearful taking of it: And that the several Inhabitants and Parishioners of the several and respective Parishes aforesaid, and Students of the Inns of Court, do take the said League and Covenant on the Lord's-day next, in the Afternoon: And that notice hereof be given to my Lord Mayor; and his Lordship desired to give timely notice hereof to the Places aforesaid. The Ministers are likewise to give notice that the Commissioners of Scotland, now here, do take it here.

Ordered, That the Commissioners of both Houses, now in Scotland, do take the Covenant, at the same time when the Kingdom of Scotland shall take it: And that Letters be writ to them to this Purpose.

Ordered, That the Divine that uses the Exhortation shall read the solemn League and Covenant.
