Soldiers, &c.
Mr. Solicitor brought the Bill for Exactions at Musters, with a Billet, from the Lords, that the two Provisoes annexed to the Bill by this House might be taken away; and a new Proviso, devised by the Lords, might be put in that Place, and the Indorsement reformed. - Jud'm.
Queen's Answer concerning Copley.
Mr. Speaker declared, that he had declared to the Queen's Majesty the Matter touching Copley; wherein her Pleasure was, that he should be examined, whereof such Matter did spring; and nevertheless, Her Majesty would well consider the Request of this House to her Majesty for him.
Royal Assent to Bills.
About Four of the Clock in the Afternoon, Mr. Speaker, with the Commons, came before the Queen's Majesty, in her Royal Seat, the Lords then present; and made his Oration, and exhibiting the Books for the Subsidies of the Clergy and Temporalty: And required her Majesty to give her Royal Assent unto such Acts passed both Houses, as might stand with her Majesty's Pleasure.
Whereupon her Highness gave her Royal Assent unto Sixteen Acts.
Parliament prorogued.
And my Lord Chancellor prorogued this Parliament unto the Fifth Day of November next.
