Privilege - Imprisonment of a Member.

MOTION made, about the Commitment of Sir Henry Stanhopp, a Member of the House, by the Council Table.

Alleged by some Members of the House, that this was upon a Challenge between him, and another Gentleman ; and the Commitment for preventing further Danger.

Upon Question, the Serjeant at Arms, attendant on this House, to go with his Mace, to bring Sir H. Stanhopp to the House : His Keeper to come with him, and to bring the Warrant for his Commitment, upon Monday Morning; and the Serjeant to have special Charge for the safe Bringing of him.

Message from the King.

Mr. Secretary delivereth in, in Writing, his Majesty's Message, Yesterday sent. - That he, having set it down in Writing, shewed it to the King; who perused, and allowed, it; so as now it is the King's Message.

Upon Question, the Consideration of this Message referred to the grand Committee, wherein Mr. Herberte in the Chair; wherein to the House to be presently resolved.

A DRAUGHT, from the grand Committee, to the House, of a Draught of an Answer to the King's last gracious Messages : Which read; and the Substance allowed. Left to Mr. Speaker's Discretion, for the Words, reserving the Substance.

Mr. Secretary Cooke, Mr. Chancellor Duchy, Lord Cary, Sir Ro. Carre, Mr. Murrey, and Sir Wm. Udall, to move the King, for Access to his Majesty, with the Speaker, and the House.
