Wednesday, November 1st. Present:—The Earl of Carlisle, Mr. Eden, Mr. de Grey, Mr. Stuart.
Trade.
Read an Order of the Lords of the Privy Council, dated the 27th October, referring the petition of Nicholas le Messurier, praying leave to export to the Island of Barbados, on board the Snow Straker, certain military stores, for the use of the public of that island.
Read an Order of the Lords of the Privy Council, dated the 27th October, referring the petition of Hooker and Company, in behalf of the Captains or Commanders now employed in the service of the East India Company, praying leave to export, on board their respective ships, five barrels of the best gunpowder, for their private trade.

Read an Order of the Lords of the Privy Council, dated 31st October, referring the petition of James Jones, praying leave to export to Flushing, on board the ship Success, certain military stores, for the use of a vessel fitting out there.
Their lordships, having considered the above Orders, are of opinion the exportation prayed for should be allowed; and reports thereupon to the Lords of the Privy Council, having been prepared, were approved, transcribed and signed.
Barbados.
There being a vacancy in his Majesty's Council for the Island of Barbados, and Sir Philip Gibbs, baronet, having been recommended as a proper person for that station, it was ordered, that the draught of a representation to his Majesty, proposing that he may be appointed of the said Council, be prepared; and the draught, having been prepared accordingly, was approved, transcribed and signed.

Trade.
Read an Order of the Lords of the Privy Council, dated the 3rd instant, referring the petition of Paul Metivier, praying leave to export to Saint Christopher, on board the ship Basseterre, certain cutlasses, for the defence of the inhabitants of that island.
Their lordships being of opinion, that the exportation prayed for should be allowed; a report to the Lords of the Privy Council upon their said Order, being prepared, was transcribed and signed, after being approved.

Read an Order of the Lords of the Privy Council, dated the 11th instant, referring the petition of Patrick Lawson, praying leave to export to the East Indies, on board the ship Locke, six thousand sword blades as merchandize.

Read an Order of the Lords of the Privy Council, dated the 15th instant, referring the petition of Graham and Simpson, praying leave to export to the Island of Antigua, on board the ship Venus, two hundred barrels of gunpowder, for the trade of that island, and the supply of the forts.
Their lordships, having considered the said petitions, were of opinion, the exportation prayed for should be allowed; and reports thereupon to the Lords of the Privy Council, having been prepared, were approved, transcribed and signed.

Read an Order of the Lords of the Privy Council, dated the 21st instant, referring the petition of Thomas Peele, praying leave to export to Belfast, on board the ship Mary Ann, sundry musquets and bayonets, for the use of William Stewart, esquire.
Their lordships being of opinion, that the exportation prayed for should be allowed; a report to the Lords of the Privy Council was prepared, approved, transcribed and signed.
