Nov. 26. The memorial of the 11th inst. from the Excise Commissioners, read and entered, proposing to allow 150l. 10s. 0d. to William Danvers and Edward Napier, late Sub-Commissioners for Excise, towards their extraordinaries in their account to 1662, March 25. Ordered: allowed of. [Early Entry Book XII. p. 55.]
Same of the 9th inst. from same, read and entered, proposing to accept 35l. from Richard Gwyn and Moses Longmare, late Sub-Commissioners for Excise for Carmarthen, Pembroke and Cardigan for the arrears of 142l. 6s. 3d. standing out on said counties, and further to allow them 272l. 16s. 0d. towards their extraordinaries on their accounts to 1662, Sept. 29. Same from same of the 23rd inst., read and entered, similarly proposing to accept 150l. from Sir Francis Cobb and Mathew Hutton, who with Robert Sandys were late Sub-Commissioners for Excise in the North and East Ridings of Yorkshire, for the arrears of 476l. 9s. 9d. standing out thereon: and further to allow them 786l. on their extraordinaries in their account to 1662, Sept. 29.
