of premises as below in order to a lease thereof to
Robert Price for 31 years on surrender of the present
term and at the rent of 3l. 18s. 0d. per an. and fine
of 40s. |

Prefixing: said Fisher's report, dated June 6 last,
on said Price's petition, ut supra, p. 1387, for same.
The premises, in co. Hereford (together with two
cottages and three acres in Tenbury, co. Worcester,
omitted in the petition, not being in lease at the
Restoration of Charles II) were granted to Thomas
Zouch for 31 years from 1662, Michaelmas; said
Zouch died soon after and his relict Ann is also
since deceased, leaving the interest of this lease to
James Zouch, their son, who April 28 last assigned
the remaining six year term thereof to petitioner
for 15l., which I take to be a great rate as most of
the parcels are but chantry rents issuing out of
lands not improveable and formerly not well
answered to the Crown, which the lessee covenanted
to recover and make good. |
