Date. Nature and Substance of the Entry. Reference.
Feb. 2. Treasury warrant to the Surveyor General of Crown Lands to give warrant to the steward of the manor of Stoke under Hamdon to pass an estate by copy of Court roll to Henry Keymer of the 16 acres of lands which William Palmer died seized of in said manor: the grant to be for one or two lives in reversion of the present estates; and without any fine in respect of the poverty and former good services of said Keymer. Warrants not Relating to Money IX, pp. 46–8.
Prefixing: (a) petition to the King from said Keymer, aged 70, who served as Captain of Dragoons under Lord Hopton in the late wars, and was long imprisoned for his loyalty, and his tenement in Milton Falcon-bridge is fallen into the King's hands by the death of petitioner's wife; (b) reference dated 1681–2, Nov. 8, thereof to the Treasury Lords; (c) certificate by Edmund Wyndham and William Helyar as to petitioner's services etc.; (d) Treasury reference to the Surveyor General of Crown Lands of this petition; (e) reports dated 1681, Aug. 10 and 13, from the said Surveyor to the Treasury Lords thereon.
