March 1. Royal warrant to the Attorney General to acknowledge satisfaction on the record of the 144l. judgment in the Exchequer in Easter term last against Peter Armstrong for treble the value of ten pieces of calicoe, four pieces of Holland linen and four bed ticks which came to his hand without payment of Custom: the King being pleased to remit his share of the said sum. March 1. William Lowndes to the Navy Treasurer to apply to the services following the sum of 30,556l. 17s. 7d. out of the 5 per cent. annuity [Contribution money] remaining in your hands: viz.

Annuities, and the remaining 112,025l. 16s.d. out of loans in the Exchequer on the Land Tax anno 1716. The said total sum is intended to be applied to such uses of the Navy and Victualling as the Treasury Lords shall think fit to direct. Ibid.

William Lowndes to the Navy Commissioners to make forth a Navy bill for allowing in John Aislabie's accounts as Navy Treasurer the sum of 4,872l. 5s. 3d. for discounts and other charges on 68,693l. 4s. 0d. of South Sea Stock sold by him by direction of the Treasury Lords: “and to assign the said bill for payment out of the money remaining in his hands arisen by sale of the said Stock.”
