Petitioners set forth that in Feb. 1710–11 they were employed by the Commissioners for Sick and Wounded Seamen to entertain and quarter such persons as the said Commissioners should send till they could be admitted into St. Thomas's Hospital for cure under the limitations mentioned in the Instructions which they were obliged to observe on penalty of 100l. and were promised their accounts should be discharged every six months at farthest: that for this service there is 202l. 15s. 0d. due to said Lester and 159l. 9s. 9d. to said Wilson, which [sum] was some time since ordered to be paid by Capt.
