Oct. 10.	Lord Cowper [his petition is read] for his allowance as late Lord Chancellor. Prepare a warrant.
	Callow and Burch [their petition is read and] ref[erred to the] C[ustoms] C[ommissioners].
	The presentment [from the] C[ustoms] C[ommissioners] relating to [the] Comptroller General and Mr. Crookshanks [which was] read on the 26th Sept. 1710 and [was then ordered] to be brought in at a full [Treasury] Board, was read Oct. 10 in [the said Commissioners'] pt [presence]. Mr. Holt is in his [this] place. It belongs to the Q[ueen] to appoint a new man for this office when it shall be void. Ibid., p. 49.
Oct. 3.	Samuel London [my Lords read a] letter [of] rec[ommendation from] Lord Scarborough [in his behalf]. At present no vacancy.
Oct. 20.	[My Lords read the] Bishop of London's letters dated 28 Sept. 1710 [desiring the passage money bounty of 20l. each for] Williamson [going as] Chaplain to Maryland; Orr [going] chaplain to the Leeward Islands; Cockburn [going] chaplain to the Leeward Islands; Dennis [going] schoolmaster to South Carolina; Maconchi [going] chaplain to Maryland. Her Majesty thinks these [letters of the Bishop] come very frequently. Respited.
Oct. 26.	[My Lords read the petition from the] sureties for Tho. Lloyd, late Receiver General for Co. Chester &c. My Lords have directed process to issue in Michaelmas term and will give no further stay. Ibid., p. 183.
Oct. 4.	Moses Medina [my Lords read the] rep[ort from] Mr. Bridges [on his petition]. My Lords say that Sir Solomon [de Medina]'s accounts are to be first made up and a certificate produced of his having performed his contract and that he is entitled thereby to what he has prayed in his memorial.
