378. Letter of the Duke of Milan to John Schibi and John Renaldi alleged executors of the will of Richard Heron.
Acknowledges letters from Antwerp of the 29th September. Has never heard of Richard Heron or the debt. Marvels at such an ancient matter being revived. However, will always be ready to show justice after due examination by the lawyers. Viglevano, the 13th November, 1486.
[Latin; draft.]
