Suits against Officers, &c.

SIR Tho. Hobby reporteth the Bill against contentious [Suits] against Officers, &c. with Amendments; which twice [read] - Engrossetur.

Fowle's Business.

Fowle's Business, - To-morrow, Two of the Clock, in the Court of Wards.

Lectures.

Sir Nath. Rich reporteth the Bill for the Three Lectures, [with] Amendments ; which twice read. - Engrossetur.

Statutes.

Mr. Speaker went out of the Chair. The Committee, for Continuance of Statutes - Mr. Speaker came in again.

Subsidy.

Mr. Solicitor tendereth the Bill of Subsidy.

This to be first read To-morrow Morning, at Seven of the Clock.

Religion.

Moved, to send a Message to the Lords, to speed our Petition concerning Religion.

Answer: That the Prince hath undertaken to perform this. - To expect his Answer.

Wales.

Sir Edw. Coke sent to the Lords, to desire a Time for a Re-conference about the Bill of Wales.

Fleete Prison.

The Committee for the Fleete, - upon Friday next.

Sir Jo. Savyle, and Mr. Price, added.

Exporting Wool,&c.

Mr. Berkeley reporteth the Bill concerning Exportation of Wool, &c. (re-committed, with, [some] Additions) with Amendments ; which twice read.

Mr. Comptroller : - To have the Word, "Scotland," stand. - So Sir Jo. Savyle. - Ingrossetur.

Wales.

Sir Edw. Coke reporteth from the Lords, that they have appointed Eight Clock To-morrow Morning, with the former Committee for Wales.

Patents.

The Patents, brought into the House, to be considered of To-morrow Morning, at Eight of the Clock.

Inferior Courts, &c.

L. 3a. An Act for Removing of Actions out of inferior Courts. -

Mr. Solicitor, - against the last Provision, where the Action exceeds not 5l. - Thus all Titles almost shall be tried below. - Nor all utter Barristers, of Three Years standing, learned enough to judge of Titles.

Mr. Bankes, accordant: - May, by this Means, be both Judge and Parties.

Sir Edw. Coke: - This the best Bill in the House. - Causes removed upon a false Ground.

The Words, " not concerning Freehold, or Inheritance, or Title of Land, Lease, or Rent," by Order of the House inserted into the Paper Book, and into the ingrossed Bill, by the Clerk at the Board.

Upon Question, passed, without One Negative.
