Windsor.
To William Muchet, late sheriff of Cambridge, Giles de Hyngeston and Roger Hog, late receivers of the king's wool in co. Cambridge. Order to cause all the wool received by them by the view and testimony of Master John de Sancto Albano, controller of wool in that county, and of Warin de Bassyngbourn, now sheriff there, to be weighed and delivered to the merchants of the societies of the Bardi and Perruzzi or their attorneys, by indenture, informing the king of the number of sacks and quality of the wool so delivered. The king has ordered Warin to cause all the said wool and other wool collected in the county to be taken to the port of Lynn at the cost of the county, as the men of the county have requested that it may be taken thence to the king to parts beyond the sea by the said merchants, under a certain form agreed upon between the council and the merchants. Windsor.
Mandate in pursuance to the sheriff, so that the wool shall be at Lynn on the octaves of Hilary next at latest. He shall certify the king in chancery of the sum of wool so delivered. By C.
