Berkhampstead.
To the collectors of customs in the port of Kyngeston upon Hull. Writ of certiorari concerning the wool which Henry de Tiddeswell of Staunford has taken out of that port, and whether he received any allowance in the custom and subsidy thereon, with order to supersede any allowance made to Henry by virtue of the king's writ to them, and if no allowance was made then to remit the writ to chancery, as the king ordered the collectors to cause allowance to be made to Henry in the custom and subsidy, according to the ordinance, until 1,000l. should be allowed to him, [as at page 50 above] and he has besought the king to order payment of 700l. to be made to him and the remainder to be allowed to him as aforesaid, as he cannot at present have sufficient wool in that port.
The like of the collectors of customs in the port of Boston to supersede an allowance of 1,843l. 11s. 3d. to Henry.
