Dec. 16.
The Tower.
To the receiver in co. Gloucester of the subsidy of the ninths and fifteenth granted by the community of the realm. Like order to cause the money to be taken to the Tower and delivered to William, whom the king has ordered to deliver it to the merchants of the said societies for the expenses of the household, which they undertook to find for a year from 1 June last, to wit 2,000 marks for a month of 28 days, for which the king assigned to them all the said subsidy in that county of the first year in part satisfaction.
