To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Order, if by inquisition or otherwise assured that by reason of destruction and waste caused by frequent inroads of the Scots in those parts, as he has shewn the king, Bertram Monboucher late sheriff of Northumberland did not and might not levy rents, farms and profits to the county pertaining of old time, not to charge him to answer for the same in his account, as they are purposing to do.
