To the sheriffs of London. Writ of supersedeas omnino in favour of John Cherdesle canon, imprisoned upon information that he purposed to pass to foreign parts in order to prosecute many things to the prejudice of the king and many of the people and to the hurt of the realm; and order by mainprise of Edmund Adyngrave, Thomas Couele and John Corbrigge of Bukinghamshire and Gilbert Lirp' 'bakere' of London to set him free.
