To John Kentwode steward of Cornwall and to the sheriff of Cornwall lately appointed to arrest John Rensy, indicted before John Roche admiral of the fleet to the westward for certain treasons and other misdeeds, and to bring him before the king. Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of John Penrose, Richard Glyvyan, Andrew Borlas, John Trevoses and Alexander Tregylyov of Cornwall, in favour of the said John Rensy; as his petition shews that he is so indicted by certain his enemies, and he has appeared in person in chancery, offering to answer that indictment, which the king has caused to come before him there, and stand to right in all things. York, with condition for defeasance thereof upon payment of 10 marks in the parish church of Wakefeld within two years, or if they shall commit waste to the value of 20s. during that term, or make any longer demise of the premises: proviso that no payment of the said sum at any other place shall be allowed, and bond of the grantees in 20 marks payable at Wakefeld within one half year after the said term to the grantor and to William Woderove vicar of Wakefeld, in case such payment be not made and the grantor shall be ready to make a release of the premises. Order by mainprise of Robert Feltwelle, John Wykes, Simon Clerke of Hertfordshire and Adam de Kent of London 'skynner' to set free William parson of Holwelle, by them imprisoned at the complaint of Thomas Walshef, Nicholas Laurence, John Reve the elder and John Reve the younger averring threats; as the king has learned that the justices have refused to set the prisoner free, although he has many times offered security that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to the complainants.

John de Shordiche to John Bacun and his assigns. Indenture of lease with warranty for five years from Michaelmas next, for a sum already paid, of the dwelling house in Chelchithe which was of William atte Watre with gardens and houses within the pale, and with the pale, reserving to the lessor the solar with the chimney of the new chamber there, the chamber below being of the lessee, both parties having free ingress and egress, the lessee having the preference for hay, litter, doves and other things for sale there at the price another would pay, and the easement of the little grange for the hay when he shall buy it; and covenants that within three weeks the lessor shall repair the houses, walls, roofs, doors, windows, bolts and keys, and shall keep the walls, houses and pale in repair, save that the lessee shall make good any walls, fences, doors, windows, bolts or keys that he shall lose or damage, and for defeasance of their respective bonds in 20l. upon condition that the parties keep these covenants.
