The group called 'Transcripts' includes all forms of copies or catalogues of doucments of which the originals are elsewhere. Various parish records of Chingford, Nazeing, and Barking, which were in the incumbents' custody when this volume was complied, were subsequently transferred to the Essex Record Office.
