Walter lord Fitz Wauter and lord of Wodeham, lord of Haydepuys and Rochetisson in Normandy, to Lewis Johan, Richard Baynarde, John Tyrell, Robert Darsy, Richard Fox, William Neulonde, Robert Molynton, William Faukeswelle and Richard Duryvalle clerk, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of the manors of Wodeham Wauter, Ultynge, Burnham, Cage, Crixhicche, Lexden, Great Teye, Little Dunmowe and Henham co. Essex, and of his purparty of the manors of Multon, Flete, Beausolas in Algerkyrke and Skyrbeke with rents and services in Kirton co. Lincoln, and all his lands, rents and services and reversions, with woods, commons, ways, hays, wards, marriages, heriots, reliefs, escheats, knights' fees, fisheries, warrens, parks, mills, suits of court, franchises, neifs and all that goes with them, advowsons etc. in Wodeham Wauter, Ultyng, Burnham, Cage, Crixhicche, Lexden, Great Teye, Little Dunmowe, Henham, Multon, Flete, Beausolas, Skyrbek and Kyrton which the said Walter by charter gave to them, their heirs and assigns. William Dedyk of Bradesale, son and heir of Cicely late the wife of William Fawkener knight, to Edmund lord Ferrers knight, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of the manor of Braydesale called 'Netherhalle,' and of all lands, rents, services, commons, liberties, warrens, mills, stanks, waters, fisheries etc. whereof he is possessed in Braydesle (sic) or elsewhere in Derbyshire. Witnesses: John lord Grey, Richard Vernoun knights, Thomas Stanley, Richard Lane, Thomas Mollesley esquires. Dated Tuesday before St. Hilary 4 Henry VI.

Memorandum of acknowledgment in chancery at Leycestre, 13 March.
Memorandum that on 14 March 4 Henry VI about the third hour after noon John duke of Bedford brought with him to Leycestre castle the great seal of silver sealed up in a bag of white leather with the seal of Henry bishop of Winchester late chancellor, and there in the second upper chamber after the great hall of parliament, in presence of Henry archbishop of Canterbury, John bishop of London, Philip bishop of Worcester, John bishop of Bath and Wells, Humphrey duke of Gloucester, Thomas duke of Exeter, Humphrey earl of Stafford, Lewis Robessart the chamberlain, John lord Lescrop, William Alnewyk clerk keeper of the privy seal, John Franke clerk keeper of the chancery rolls and others, drew the seal from the bag, and sealed two letters patent of recommendation for certain servants of the household and officers of the duke of Burgundy coming to the king and the duke of Bedford, as appears by the same being enrolled in chancery, and divers writs of the common law of the land, and in their presence put the seal again in the bag, sealed it up with his own seal and the seal of the keeper of the rolls, and took it with him to his lodging at the house of the friars preachers of Leycestre. And on Saturday following, namely 16 March, with his own hand he brought the seal in the bag, sealed up as aforesaid, before the king in his chamber within the abbey of St. Mary de Pratis Leycestre, and delivered it to the king, and the king took of the said bishop of London an oath in manner accustomed, and that day in presence of the dukes of Bedford and Gloucester, Walter Hungerforde knight the treasurer, John Scrope, John Tiptoft knights, the keeper of the rolls and many others straightway delivered the same to the said bishop; and he took it, and carried it with him to his lodging within the college of Leycestre, and on Sunday following in his said lodging sealed divers letters patent and writs of course.

Condition, that John Netherwey and John Langvyle shall abide and perform his award touching all debates, plaints, pleas and demands between them, with proviso that the same shall be made before the feast of St. John Baptist next.
