Prayers.

Needwood Forest Right.

ORDERED, That the Report from the Committee, to whom the Petition of the Gentlemen, Freeholders, and other Inhabitants, who have Right of Estovers, and Common, in the Forest, or Chace, of Needwood, in the County of Stafford, Parcel of the Duchy of Lancaster, was referred, be made To-morrow Morning.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir John Leveson Gower have Leave to go into the Country, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Lordington, &c. Manors.

An ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act for Sale of the Manor of Lordington, alias Lurtington, and Whitvey, and divers Lands, in the County of Sussex; and for laying out Five thousand Pounds in purchasing other Lands, to be settled in lieu thereof; was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Freeke have Leave to go into the Country, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Ordered, That Mr. Lewis have Leave to go into the Country, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Corse Castle Election.

Ordered, That the Report, from the Committee of Privileges and Elections, touching the Election for the Borough of Corfe-Castle, in the County of Dorset, be made upon Thursday Morning next.

Supply Bill; Land Tax.

The House, according to Order, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Bill for granting to his Majesty the Sum of One million Four hundred Eighty-four thousand Fifteen Pounds One Shilling Eleven-pence Three Farthings, for disbanding the Army, providing for the Navy, and for other necessary Occasions.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Cowper took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Cowper reported from the said Committee, That they had made a further Progress in the Matter to them referred; and had directed him to move, That they may have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow Morning at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the said Bill.

Woolen Manufacture.

The Lords have agreed to the Bill, intituled, An Act to prevent the Exportation of Wool out of the Kingdom of Ireland and England into foreign Parts; and for the Encouragement of the Woolen Manufacture in the Kingdom of England; with some Amendments: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House. Also,

Wake's Estate.

The Lords have passed a Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Samuel Wake, alias Jones, to sell Lands, to pay Debts, and to purchase other Lands adjoining to, and formerly Parcel of, his Manor of Waltham, alias Waltham Holy-Cross, in the County of Essex, to be settled to the same Uses: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House. Also,

Price's Estate.

The Lords have agreed to the Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Edward Price Esquire to transfer a Charge of 1,000 l. for the Use of his younger Children, from an Estate in the County of Montgomery, to an Estate in the Counties of Hereford and Radnor, of better Value, without any Amendments. Also,

Andrews' Estate.

The Lords have agreed to the Bill, intituled, An Act for Sale of the Manor of Downham, in the County of Essex, the Estate of Sir Francis Andrews; and for buying and settling other Lands to the same Uses; with some Amendments: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House. Also,

Ayre and Calder Navigation.

The Lords have agreed to the Bill intituled, An Act for making and keeping navigable the Rivers Ayre and Calder, in the County of York, with some Amendments: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

A Complaint withdrawn.

The House being acquainted, That Agent Roberts was discharged out of Prison; and that he desired to withdraw his Complaint;

Ordered, That the said Complaint be withdrawn.

Suppressing Lotteries.

Ordered, That the Bill for suppressing the Royal Oak Lottery, and all other Lotteries, be read To-morrow Morning.

Byde's Estate.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Thomas Byde Esquire, an Infant, with the Consent of his Guardians, and next Relations, to make a Contract for the buying-in his Mother's Jointure; and to sell a small Estate in Great Amwell, in the County of Hertford; and likewise for the securing and raising a Portion for Barbara Byde, Sister of the said Thomas Byde; and for other Purposes in the Act mentioned; be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Encouraging the Fishery.

Ordered, That the Bill for establishing and regaining the Fishery be read a Second time upon Thursday Morning next.

Hereditary Excise Patentees.

Ordered, That all Committees, except the Committee, to whom the Petition of several of the Patentees, and others, who are interested in annual Sums payable out of the Hereditary Excise, in behalf of themselves, and divers others, is referred; and the Committee, to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for vesting the real Estate, late of Thomas Lascels Esquire, in Trustees to be sold, for the Payment of his Debts; is committed; be adjourned.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight a Clock.
