Prayers.
Crown Lands.
AN Act for securing the Soldiers Arrears, out of the Lands late belonging to the Crown, was this Day read the Third Time.
A Proviso was tendered to this Act, That this Act extend not to several Parks, Houses, and Lands, in the said Proviso mentioned: Which Proviso was this Day read the First and Second Time.
Ordered, That the said Proviso be committed to a Committee; to pen a Proviso, upon the Debate now had in this House: viz. unto Sir Hen. Vane junior, Mr. Myles Corbett, Major Salway, Colonel Rich, Mr. Martyn; or any Two of them.
A Proviso was tendered to the said Act, That the said Act extend not to the Demesnes of Pontfracte, and some Fee-farm Rents therein mentioned: Which was this Day read the First Time: and, upon the Question, rejected.
And it is Ordered, That Mr. Garland, Mr. Weaver, and Mr. Allen, do withdraw; and draw a Proviso, upon the Debate now had in this House.
A Proviso was tendered to the said Act, for securing the Arrears of Sir James Harrington, not exceeding Four hundred Pounds, out of the Monies to be raised by Sale of the Lands, Parks, and Chaces: Which was this Day read the First and Second Time; and laid aside.
A Proviso was tendered to the said Act, that the said Act extend not to the Manor-house of Yorke, nor other the Buildings and Grounds within the Walls thereof, adjoining to the City of Yorke: Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be Part of the Act.
A Proviso was tendered, That the said Act extend not to make void a Lease made of the Manor of Stockton Socon, to Sir Edmund Munford Knight, since deceased, Anthony Drury and Nicholas Smith, bearing Date 9 Septembris, 17 Caroli Regis, for Thirty Years: Which was this Day read the First and Second time.
And the Question being propounded, That the said Proviso be Part of the Act;
The Question being put, That that Question be now put;
It passed with the Affirmative.
And the main Question being put;
The House was divided.
The Yeas went forth.

Ordered, That a Committee do withdraw; and prepare a Proviso to be tendered to this Act, upon the Debate now had in the House; Viz. Mr. Dove, Mr. Weaver.
A Proviso for excepting Vaw Hall out of the said Act was tendered to the said Act: Which Proviso was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be Part of the Bill.
A Proviso was tendered to the said Act, That the said Act extend not to the Park and Forest of Clarringdon, nor to the Forest and Chaces of Bauncett and Buckholt, in the Counties of Wiltes or Hampshire: Which was this Day read the first Time.
And the Question being put, That the said Proviso be read the Second Time;
It passed with the Negative.
And the said Proviso was, upon the Question, rejected.
Leave of Absence.
Ordered, That Mr. Robert Goodwyn have Leave to go the Assizes.
Thornhaugh's Claims.
Ordered, That Mr. Millington do make his Report touching Colonel Thornhaugh on Wednesday next.
