ORDERED, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Friday next, the First Business; and that all the Lords be summoned.

Malted Corn, &c. Bill.

The Lord Bishop of London reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the encouraging the Consumption of Malted Corn, and for the preventing the Running of French and Foreign Brandy," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the encouraging the Consumption of Malted Corn, and for the preventing the Running of French and Foreign Brandy."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, The Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Way out of Chancery Lane, to collect Duties for, Bill.

The Lord Viscount Townshend reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better collecting the Duties granted for making the Way out of Chancery-Lane into Lincolne's Inne Fields, and for determining the said Duties when the Parties concerned are paid," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Oath of Abjuration, Bill to enlarge the Time for taking:

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enlarging the Time for taking the Oath of Abjuration; and also for re-capacitating and indemnifying such Persons as have not taken the same by the Time limited, and shall take the same by a Time to be appointed."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments and Clauses, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, Mr. Justice Powel and Mr. Justice Powis:

Sir E. Williams's Bill.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Sir Edward Williams to sell certain Manors and Lands, in the Counties of Brecon and Radnor, for Payment of Debts," as fit to pass, with One Amendment.

Which was read Twice, and agreed to.

ORDERED, That the Amendment be engrossed.

Repair of Churches, Bill:

The Earl of Nottingham, by Her Majesty's Command, said before the House a List of such Persons as have had Licenses to come out of France, since the Eighth Day of March last.

List of Passes to come from France, since 9th of King W. to be said before the House:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Secretaries of State do lay before this House a List of all the Passes that have been granted, by the late King William the Third, for Persons to come out of France, since the late Act of Parliament made in the Ninth Year of King William the Third, intituled, "An Act against corresponding with the late King James and His Adherents."

Address for a Proclamation, to apprehend Persons come from France without Passes.

Lords Committees appointed to draw an Address of Thanks to Her Majesty, for Her great Care, in not giving Licenses to more Persons to come out of France; and humbly to desire Her Majesty, "to issue Her Proclamation for the Discovery of any Persons that have come from France without License, with a Reward to the Discoverers of any such Persons;" and report to the House:

Their Lordships, or any Three of them; to meet To-morrow, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

War in The Indies, Bill for carrying on.

Message from H. C. to return Wayfoort & al. Nat. Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Francis Marsham and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Nicholaus Wayfoort and Jacob Saunderfelt;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Occasional Conformity Bill, Committee to draw up what was offered at the last Conference about it.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords Committees, formerly appointed to draw up Reasons for the Lords insisting upon their Amendments to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for preventing Occasional Conformity," do draw up what was offered at the Free Conference upon the said Bill, and report to the House; their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Friday next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers.

Richmond & al. versus Mayor & al. of London:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Richard Richmond and Peter De Lanoy, from an Order made in the Court of Chancery, the Eighth of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and One, and Part of another Order, of the Fifteenth of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and Two, and the Decree and Proceedings enrolled thereupon; and praying, "the said Orders and Decrees may be reversed; and that the Mayor, Commonalty, and Citizens, of the City of London, and Gabriel Glover and others, Defendants in the Court below, may answer thereunto:" As also upon the Answer of the Mayor, Commonalty, and Citizens of the City of London, put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Richard Richmond and Peter De Lanoy shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Orders, Decree, and Proceedings, therein complained of, shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.
