Granger's Bill.

The Lord Halifax reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable William Collins Clerk, Thomas Parrat and William Day Gentlemen, to dispose of certain Lands, for the Payment of the Debts of John Granger, and for making a Provision for the Widow and Younger Children of Nicholas Granger, his late Father, deceased," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Penne's Bill.

The Lord Halifax also reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for further enabling George Penne Esquire to sell Lands, for Payment of his Debts, by enlarging a Trust for that Purpose, contained in a former Act, intituled, An Act for enabling George Penne Esquire to sell Lands, for the Payment of his Debts, and other Purposes therein mentioned," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Morgan versus Digby:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of James Morgan, Executor of Michael Rackett deceased, from several Orders, Reports, and Decrees, made in the Court of Chancery by the Master of the Rolls, and the Confirmation of them by the Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain, on the Behalf of Elizabeth Digby, Widow and Administratrix of John Digby deceased; and praying, "That the several Orders, Reports, and Decrees, in the said Petition and Appeal complained of, may be set aside and reversed:" As also upon the Answer of the said Elizabeth Digby put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of James Morgan shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Orders, Reports, and Decrees, therein complained of, shall be, and are hereby, affirmed.

Adjourn.
