Westminster.
To the sheriff of Kent for the time being. Order to pay to Richard Gardemewe for life 20l. a year which by letters patent, confirmed by the king, for good service to his father the prince and to himself, the late king gave to the said Richard his esquire, serjeant of his chandlery, to be taken of the issues and revenues of Kent.
