Margery Jakys of Bristol, widow, to John Gilbert, his heirs and assigns. Charter confirming gift of 7 messuages, 4 tofts, 100 a. land, 6 a. meadow, 2 market-stalls (stallagia in foro) and one-third of a mill in Smalbroke (fn. 1) and pasture for 200 sheep, one draught animal (averium), 10 cattle and all her pigs in Wermystr', Smalbroke and Buschopestr' co. Wilts with the bailiwick of Wermystr' hundred; appointment of John Dier and Henry Napper as attorneys to convey seisin. Witnesses: Robert Wylughby lord Broke and Walter Hungreford knights, John Stanter and Robert Lygh esquires, Thomas and George Chaffyn, Stephen Duke and others. Dated 13 March, 14 Henry VII.

The same, to the same. Release and quitclaim with warranty of the premises, late of Helen Welley her mother. Witnesses: Thomas Chasyn (sic), Robert Beche, George Chasyn, Thomas Stokton, Stephen Duke, John Benet and Henry Napper. Dated Warmester, 30 July, 15 Henry VII.
