Long versus Reeve, in Error.

Upon reading the Petition of Charles Reeve Gentleman; praying a Day may be appointed for hearing the Errors argued upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Anne Long is Plaintiff, and the Petitioner Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Errors argued thereupon on Monday the Seventeenth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Marten versus Herbert.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Henry Marten is Appellant, and Thomas Herbert Respondent:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Tuesday the Eighteenth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

D. of Bedford introduced.

William Earl of Bedford, being, by Letters Patents, dated the Twelfth Day of May last, created Duke of Bedford, was, in his Robes, introduced between the Duke of Bolton and the Duke of Devon, also in their Robes; and preceded by the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, Garter King at Arms, and the Lord Willoughby of Eresby (who executed this Day the Office of Lord Great Chamberlain of England).

His Grace presented his Patent to the Lord Keeper, on his Knee, at the Woolsack; who delivered it to the Clerk; and being read at the Table, his Grace was accordingly placed on the Earls Bench.

Phillips versus Bury, in Error.

The Lord Keeper having (pursuant to the Order Yesterday) reported what was offered by Counsel at the Bar, in the Cause depending in this House wherein Robert Phillips is Plaintiff, and Arthur Bury Defendant; and a Debate arising thereupon:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Debate shall be, and is hereby, adjourned until Monday Morning next.

Adjourn.
