  • 1. Matthew de Englefeld was said by Le Neve-Hardy to have been archdcn. of Anglesey in 1321 and 1327, but in 1328, when el. bp. of Bangor, he occ. only as canon (Cant., Reg. Q f. 172).
  • 2. There is no evidence that Huw Morgan held the archdcnry in 1468 as stated by Le Neve-Hardy. Morgan was dn. of Bangor in that year.
  • 3. There is no evidence that Nicholas ap Elys (ab Elis) held the archdcnry 1471 and 1474 as stated by Le Neve-Hardy.
  • 4. The collation of William Capon to the archdcnry 7 Aug. 1537 was cancelled, probably because Glynn was still living (Nat. Libr. Wales, B/BR/1 f. 20).
