1477. Prid. Id. Oct. (14 Oct.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 6v.)	To the archdeacon of Dunkeld, the treasurer of Glasgow, and Guy de Moreaul, a canon of Autun (Eduen.). Mandate to collate and assign to John Fresel, priest, of the diocese of St. Andrews, M.A., who is also a bachelor in decrees, the perpetual vicarage of Cullesse in the said diocese, value 9l. sterling, void by the resignation of John Elearson to William Scleues (recte Scheues), archdeacon of St. Andrews, appointed by the apostolic see coadjutor to archbishop Patrick. 1478. Kal. April. (fn. 2) (1 April.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 90v.)	To George Broun, rector of Aldeathy [sic] in the diocese of St. Andrews, M.A. Dispensation, as below. The pope lately dispensed him to receive and retain for life with the said church one other benefice, and without the said church any two other benefices, with cure or otherwise incompatible, even if two parish churches, etc., and to resign them, etc. The pope now dispenses him to receive and retain for life with the said church and other such incompatible benefice, or with any two other such incompatible benefices, any third benefice with cure or otherwise incompatible, even if it be a parish church, etc., and to resign it, simply or for exchange, when he pleases; provided that of such three benefices not more than two be parish churches, etc. Litterarum etc. [2½ pp. +]

1479. 9 Kal. Sept. (24 Aug.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 171r.)	To the dean of the church of St. Donatianus, Bruges, in the diocese of Tournai. Mandate to collate and assign to James Lindesay, priest, of the diocese of St. Andrews, who is a licentiate of arts and is of a noble race of barons, the archdeaconry of Rane in the church of Aberdeen, a non-major dignity with cure, value 40l. sterling, which was held by Alexander Raet, a continual commensal member of the pope's household, (fn. 3) who has died extra R.c. after retiring from his membership of the said household, (fn. 4) and which is reserved to the pope in virtue of his reservation of all dignities and other benefices, then void and to become void, which were and should be held by continual commensal members of his household, even if they have retired from the said membership. 1478. 16 Kal. Nov. (17 Oct.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 259v.)	To the official of Derry. Mandate to collate and assign to Magonius Odomnaill, clerk, of the diocese of Derry, who is in his nineteenth year and is illegitimate, being the son of a priestnoble and an unmarried woman, the parish church de de [sic] Cluaink in the said diocese, value 9 marks sterling, void at the apostolic see, and therefore ipso facto reserved, by the death there of Patrick Odubayd. The pope hereby dispenses him to receive and retain the said church, notwithstanding the said defects of birth and age. Dignum etc. (M. xviii. Quartodecimo Kal. Aprilis anno undecimo. 1479. 15 Kal. July. (17 June.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 271r.)	Confirmation, etc., as below. The recent petition of John Omulmochore, rector of the poor hospital of the place of Drumerbelaid in the diocese of Kilmore, contained that on the voidance of the rectory of the church of the said place by the resignation of the late Maurice Omulmochore to the late John bishop of Kilmore, who admitted it by his ordinary authority, the said bishop, seeing that the fruits etc. of the said hospital were insufficient for the keeping of hospitality therein, united thereto for ever by the same authority and with the consent of the chapter of Kilmore the said rectory, which is without cure, and the holder of which has from time immemorial not had himself promoted to holy orders, in virtue of which union the said Maurice, then rector of the said hospital, took possession of the said rectory. At the said petition, alleging that the yearly value of the said rectory does not exceed 12 marks sterling, the pope hereby confirms the said union and the contents of the letters of appropriation of the said bishop, and their consequences, and moreover himself unites the said rectory to the said hospital, so that the said John may take possession of it and convert its fruits etc. to the uses of the said hospital and poor for ever. To John Watson, rector of Thurkeston in the diocese of Lincoln, M.A. Dispensation to receive and retain for life with the said church any one other benefice, or if he resign the said church any two other benefices, with cure or otherwise incompatible, even if parish churches, etc., and to resign them, etc. Litterarum scientia, vite etc. [1⁴/5 pp.]
