The schedule, indented, of even date, witnesses that John Colure, by the earl's assignment, delivered to William Bakere a bull, price 10s., and 34 cows, price 10s. each, which the said earl had by the gift of Sir Henry, rector of Asshatesford, and which were appraised by the tenants of the manor.

Chirograph indented, made at Watford, 31 Edward I, on the feast of St. Vincent, being the memorandum of an agreement between Ellen, daughter of the late Sir Eustace de Watford, knight, and Eustace, son of the late Sir John de Bourneby, knight, lord (dominum) in Watford, of the one part, and Edmund, son and heir of the late Edmund de Watford, of the other, to wit Ellen and Eustace have enfeoffed Edmund of ½a. arable in the south field of Watford on 'Wylifurlong' between land of the abbot of St. James without Norhampton and his own land; and Edmund, in exchange, has enfeoffed them of ½a. there between land of William the clerk and his own land.
