1449. 13. Kal. Jan. (20 Dec.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 22.)	To John Purcell, canon of Limerick. Mandate—the treasurership of Killaloe (Laonien.), a non-major dignity with cure, with the annexed perpetual vicarage of the parish church of the place of Drumlyll in the diocese of Killaloe, being void because Cornelius Macommara, having obtained it by canonical collation, held possession of it for more than a year without having himself ordained priest, although canonically monished and required to do so, of which treasurership and its annex the said Cornelius, a notorious fornicator, simoniac and public perjurer, has unduly detained possession for more than nine years beyond the said year; and the rectory of the second (alterius) parish church of the said place having been so long void by the death of Donald Maconmara that by the Lateran statutes its collation lapsed to the apostolic see, the fruits etc. of which rectory, which is of ecclesiastical fee, Donatus, bishop of Killaloe, has unduly taken, even after the said lapse—to collate and assign to Odo Macanmora (rectius Macanmara), clerk, of the said diocese, who is of noble birth, and who from fear of the power of the bishop and Cornelius cannot safely meet them in the city and diocese of Killaloe, the said treasurership, which is non-elective, value with the said annex not exceeding 6 marks sterling, and rectory, without cure and value not exceeding 2 marks sterling; summoning the bishop and Cornelius, and removing Cornelius from the treasurership, and from the rectory any unlawful detainers. 7 Kal. April. (26 March.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 26.)	To the abbot of St. John the Evangelist's in the diocese of Tuam, and Thomas Obrayn and John de Burgo, canons of Tuam. Mandate to collate and assign to Reymundus Bremycheam, priest, of the diocese of Tuam, the provostship of Tuam, a non-major non-elective dignity, value not exceeding 3 marks sterling, void because Richard de Burgo obtained, collated to him by authority of the ordinary, the rectory of the canonically united parish churches of Munter Murchu in the diocese of Annadown, although the said Richard, who is to be summoned and removed, has for more than a month after obtaining the rectory, unduly detained the provostship without dispensation. 6 Non May. (2 May.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 34.)	To the dean of Cloyne (Cloanen.), and Richard and John Porsell, canons of the same. Mandate to collate and assign to Thomultheus Ocormacayn, perpetual vicar of Newcastle (de Novocastro) in the diocese of Lismore, who is a priest and whom the pope hereby holds absolved from all sentences of excommunication etc. as far only as regards the taking effect of these presents, the chancellorship of Lismore, a non-major non-elective dignity without cure, value not exceeding 8 marks sterling, void by the death of Paul Reting; summoning and removing Philip Cristur, priest, of the said diocese, who has unduly detained possession for more than a year but less than two, without any canonical title or any right, and from fear of whose power Thomultheus cannot safely meet him in the city and diocese of Lismore. 14 Kal. May. (18 April.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 247.)	To the abbot of Mothel (de Mutalia) in the diocese of Lismore. Mandate (the pope having been informed by Maurice Ronan, perpetual vicar of the canonically united parish churches of Tubburt and Tullachartan in the diocese of Lismore, that David Odoubly, canon of Lismore, when holding possession of a canonry of Lismore and the prebend of Tullachartan (fn. 2), committed perjury and simony, is a dilapidator of the goods thereof, and is accused (irretitus existit) of very many other crimes [not here expressed]) if and after Maurice accuses David before the above abbot, to summon David, and if he find the above or one of them sufficient for the purpose to be true, to deprive and remove him, and in that event to collate and assign the said canonry and prebend, value not exceeding 5 marks sterling, to Maurice; whether they become void by such deprivation, or be void by the death of John Yhynnows, or in any other way, and notwithstanding that he holds the vicarage of the said united churches, value not exceeding 8 marks sterling. 6 Non. May. (2 May.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 253.)	To Thomas Oseanca(n) alias Scolan, canon of Cloyne (Clonen.). Mandate to receive and admit, for this turn only, the resignation which Maurice Oconnylleli (or Oconnylleh) proposes to make of a canonry and the prebend of St. Munchins in Limerick (Sancti Monchini Limiricen.), and to collate and assign them, value not exceeding 14 marks sterling, to Malachy Ocondoub, canon of Lismore, whom the pope hereby absolves from all sentences of excommunication etc. as far only as regards the taking effect of these presents: whether they become void by such resignation, or be void by the death of Philip Yhalle, or in any other way, and notwithstanding that Malachy holds the perpetual vicarage of Garre in the diocese of Killaloe (Lucionen. rectius Laonien.) and a canonry of Lismore and the prebend of Kilkessneta therein, the value of all which does not exceed 26 marks sterling.
