The canons making the election were Maurice de Insula Missarum, William de Londors, Michael de Cambuskinel, William de Eglisham, and Henry de Stryvelin.

Mandate, on petition of Bernard de Bovisvilla, rector of Rocaleya, in the diocese of Canterbury, void by the death of Master Simon de Faversham, to cite Master Nicholas de Tuoihic, who temerariously withholds it, although provision of it was made to Bernard, and to induct Bernard into possession of the same, unless Nicholas is able to allege reasonable grounds to the contrary; in this case the archbishop is to take the church into his own hands on behalf of the pope, to whom he is to write what he thinks ought to be done.

He, by dispensation of Boniface VIII. held the churches of Childewellis, Hemmiryngburg, Kingsclere, Balsham, and Dalston, in the dioceses of Coventry and Lichfield, York, Winchester, Ely, and Carlisle, and canonries and prebends of York, Salisbury, Wells, Lichfield, Dublin, and Kildare, of St. Martin's le Grand, London, of Avellinden, of Derlington, and of Chester, and then obtained the church of Boldon, annexed by the bishop of Durham to the prebend of Chester; and further obtained canonries and prebends of Lincoln, St. Davids, Chichester, and of Bascham, Wherwelle, and Southwell, in Chichester, Winchester, and York, all of which, except the church of Dalston, which he resigned, he still holds, without a dispensation for non-residence and lack of orders, the term of seven years fixed by Boniface VIII. having elapsed. Dispensation, at the king's request, to retain the same, except any two, which he is to resign, with licence of non-residence for two years, during which time he is not obliged to be ordained priest.

He is rector of Mottram in Longedenedale, in the diocese of Coventry and Lichfield, and is licensed by his diocesan to spend seven years in his studies. Dispensation to continue for three years to study canon and civil law, without being obliged to take higher orders.
14 Kal. Feb. Poitiers. (f. 84.)	To John son of John de Bakuel. He, at the age of twenty and not in full orders, became rector of Mepham, in the diocese of Rochester, and has held it for six months without papal dispensation. Dispensation to retain the same.
8 Kal. June. Lugudiac. (f. 85.)	To Adam de Esgodbi, deacon, who, after the council of Lyons, obtained, without apostolic dispensation, the churches of Wayndon, Haukeswell, and Geyrgave, in the dioceses of Lincoln and York, value 100l. Dispensation, at the request of Odo de Grandison, to retain them, as also the canonries and prebends which he has in York, Wells, Bromford, and Lanchester, in the dioceses of Hereford and Durham; their fruits and those of the church of Morton, in the diocese of Lincoln, which he has resigned, being remitted; provided that before Odo sets out for the Holy Land, Adam shall deliver to him one year's income as a subsidy for the same.

Dispensation, at the request of Gaston, count of Foix, to hold the church of Orpintone, in the diocese of Rochester, and canonries and prebends in Lincoln and Southwell, besides benefices in the dioceses of Bazas and Bordeaux, and others to the value of 100l.

8 Id. July. Poitiers. (f. 97d.)	To Peter Arnaldi de Vico, canon of Bayonne, one of the clerks of the king of England. He had killed Amaneuus de Pinsaco, a layman, and committed other crimes at the instigation of others, and having been arrested and imprisoned by order of the pope was allowed to go, on giving securities and taking an oath. He is now absolved and restored to full liberty.
8 Id. July. Poitiers. (f. 97d.)	To the king. Grant of an indult to ten of his clerks engaged in his service south of the channel, whom he or his seneschal of Gascony may choose, to enjoy the fruits of their benefices for ten years, being non-resident.

He having obtained, without apostolic dispensation, the church of Wistvestone, in the diocese of Chichester, and successively Chiselhurst, Chipstede, Catton, Aughton, and the deanery of Tamworth, in the dioceses of Rochester, Winchester, York, and Coventry and Lichfield, value 60l. and on resigning Wistveston, Chiselhurst, and Chypstede, had dispensation from Walter, bishop of Coventry and Lichfield, to hold Catton and Aughton; and moreover held canonries and prebends of Hevedone and Burges, in the dioceses of York and Hereford, and the treasurership of St. Peter's, York. Dispensation to retain the same.
1307. 13 Kal. Dec. Poitiers. (f. 102.)	To Reginald de Cusantia, who is rector of a móiety of the parish church of Eginton, in the diocese of Coventry and Lichfield, and obtained dispensation from the diocesan to spend five years in his studies and England, and then in France. Dispensation to retain the same, and also two canonries and prebends in France, value 30 marks.
