[Feb. 16.] 1,140. Petition of the Newfoundland fishing traders to the King. Proposing that, though copies of the patent regulations have been carefully distributed, yet as some ports are without the jurisdiction of their corporation, others have no magistrates, and others are governed by magistrates concerned in the trade, the Custom House officers may also be charged to see the patent observed. 1 p.
