473. Duke of Newcastle to the Council of Trade and Plantations. Encloses following and signifies H.M. pleasure that they comply with what is desired therein. Signed, Holles Newcastle. Endorsed, Recd. 16th, Read 19th June, 1733. 1 p. Enclosed,
472. i. Address of the House of Lords to the King. 13th June, 1733. Desire H.M. to give directions to the Commissioners for Trade and Plantations to prepare, during the recess, and lay before the House at their next meeting, an account of the laws made, manufactures set up, and trade carried on, in any of H.M. Colonys and Plantations in America, which may have affected the Trade, Navigation and Manufactures of this Kingdom, distinguishing when any such manufactures were first set up, what progress has been made therein, and what orders or instructions have been given to discourage the same, and when any such trade was first carried on, and what directions have been given or methods taken to put a stop thereto.
