Frequentius scriberem si amori et observantiae mea parerem Sed detineor, nec sine gravioribus curis importunus. Nunc autem occasionem scribendi arripio ut libellum adjunctum transmittam Adomari scriptum Anglicana et Latina lingua ut tam gravi scandolo antidotum aliquod opportunum non deesset.
In similibus occupamur. Et nunc aggredimur opus fructuosum sed impar viribus nostris. Et qui volunt magna facere oportet ut sint divites et pecuniarum contemptores. Et quanta (bone Deus) utilia et salutaria opera procrastinantur et destituuntur propter inopiam pecuniarum quod in alia minus utilia expenduntur, ut merito III. D. V. dolebat. Nollem remandari ultra in Anglia libros Catholicos, sed gratis distribui, quod Haeretici faciunt in regnis Catholicis. Sic enim sparsa est haeresis in Germania, Anglia, Belgio: et nunc spargitur in Indiis et in ipsa Hispania. Et sunt homines qui falso zelo impensas faciunt magnas ut mactent et perdant.
Propter leges adversas et poenas vendunt in Anglia mercatores Catholicos libros rigurissimo praetio unde non perveniunt ad illorum manus qui illis maxime indigent. Huic malo licet tardius nunc tandem mederi conamur, si Deus opem tulerit. Qui III. D. V. Eccl. Cath. incolumem servet.
