Regulas autem has observances nobis coram positis in manus tradidit Sanctissimus Dominus noster die 30 Januarii quas ideo hucusque mittere distuli quia sperabam impetrare me posse quaedam verba, ilia scilicit, quibus lineas subduxi ab radi ne haeretici in illa incidentes ea in odium Catholicorum invidiose interpretentur aut Catholici ulli seditiosi hinc occasionem excusationem non arriperent sub praetextu bene faciendi animabus, res novas periculosas et odiosas iterum moliendi. Spero nos brevi habituros pro Anglis monachis due monasteriola, unum in Belgio, in Lotharingaria alterum, pauperrima illa quidem sed reformata, neque de inopia multum soliciti sumus, scientes quod si vere queramus regnum Dei, reliqua omnia adjicientur nobis. Admodum RR. PP. Abbates nostros Mediolanenses misionis nostrae fautores praecipuos semper habuimus quos amicos constantes et ferventes semper nos habituros speramus pro charitate sua. Quibus cupio notum fieri hunc zelum in nos suum non solum Deo sed etiam D.V. Ill. gratum esse. Nos interim saedulis apud dominum praecibus agimus ut V.D. Ill. et Rev. diutissime servet incolumem.
