and 12		 Warrant under the sign manual of the Lords Justices, countersigned by the Treasury Lords, to William Aislabie, one of the Auditors of Imprests. To pass the account of the expense of the Great Wardrobe for the year ended 1740, Sept. 29, notwithstanding its exceeding the limited allowance of 13,000l. by the further sum of 10,846l. 9s. 9d.

Oct. 5 Treasury warrant to the Customs Commissioners to observe an order in Council of date 1743, Sept. 29. For the destruction of silk and velvet from the “Mermaid” and the “Duke of Lorain.” by their being secured in sheet lead, and taken out and sunk in deep waters on the “Princess Caroline” sloop, belonging to the Custom House.
