It has been declared that for supplying the deficiency of the levy money the King would allow the Regiments full subsistence for the additional men from June 1st providing one half of them are raised by July 15 and the remaining half by Aug. 15. But the Government of Ireland has detained the recruiting officers till their men were embarked and this has caused some delay in the levies here; and the colonels cannot carry on the levies with the money already received, great part of which has gone to subsist the officers and in other extraordinary expenses.
