These annuities were set at 15½ years' purchase and the Fond established for their payment is as followeth:
the One Third Tonnage and Poundage from 8 March 1706–7 for 98 years. The produce of this with 280,000l. out of the purchase money [or Contributions] is to be the Fond for paying them for the first two years, to wit from Lady day 1706 to Lady day 1708.
the Duties on Coals, Culme and Cynders Continued from 14 May 1708 to 30 September 1710. This with the One Third Tonnage and Poundage is to be the fond for paying them from Lady day 1708 to Michaelmas 1710, being 2½ years.
the 9d. per barrel Excise for the Million Lottery annuities which [Duty] has Continuance till 17 May 1713 and is further Continued for 95 years from the said 17 May 1713.
From Michaelmas 1710 (all the [Million] Lottery annuities being first satisfied) this [9d. Excise Duty] together with the One Third Tonnage will be the Fonds for the remainder which will be then to come of the said term of 99 years.
