Hearing Counsel.

THE Counsel always to be heard before the Commitment.

Cloth Trade.

The Bill for the true Making of all Sorts of Woollen

Cloths, and of Aulneging, Selling, and Transporting, ot the same : - The first Reading.

Outlaws, &c. not to be in Parliament.

The Bill for Disabling of Recusants, Persons attainted of Forgery and Penury, Outlaws, and Contemners of the Law, to be of the Parliament. - The first Reading.

Religion.

Sir Fr. Hastings desireth Attention, that he be not mistaken, nor miscarried. - That the King of Kings may have his full Entrance in this House. - Conscientia mille testes. Religion no temporary Thing.

A Day assigned for Conference, touching Religion.

The Committees Names, for a Conference - The Chequer Chamber, this Afternoon, this Committee for Religion to meet.

Wyndsor Deanery.

The Bill for Wyndsor, brought in by Mr. Fra. Moore, with some Amendments, by way of Omission.

Prescription.

The Bill for Limitation of Prescription, altered in the Title, and brought in by Mr. Fra. Moore, from the Committee, with Amendments, and a Proviso for Mr. Nevill, offered by Mr. Martin; which was twice read. The Title, altered, is, that Rent Charges, Formedons in discender, Nativo habendo, and Copyholds, shall be within the Statute.

The Proviso twice read, and, upon the Question, committed.

The Proviso committed to the former Committees, Mr. Edw. Francis, Sir Rob. Wingfield, Mr. Solicitor, Sir John Thynne, Sir Fra. Barrington, added.

Writs of Error.

The Bill to take away Writs of Error in certain Cases, returned from the Committees, by Mr. Moore, and upon the Question, rejected.

Privilege in Executions.

The Bill for Remedy for Plaintiffs in Execution, where the Defendants have been arrested, and set at Liberty by the Parliament: - The Committee adjourned till Tomorrow, in the former Place.

Free Trade.

The Bill for all Merchants to have free Liberty of Trade into all Countries, as is used in all other Nations: - The second Reading, and committed. - Sir Edwyn Sandys, Sir Tho. Union with Scotland.

1. His Majesty, in the Matter of Union, alloweth Freedom and Liberty of Speech to all.

2. That they would freely, at the Committee, prepare themselves to speak the Depth and Conceit of their Hearts; and the Judges to attend at the Conference.

3. That they would, not resolve or determine of any thing, before they heard the Reasons at large.

Exchequer.

The Bill touching Process and Pleadings in the Court of Exchequer: - Third Reading, and passed, upon the Question.
