Southampton Charter.

To the Committee, in the Bill touching the Charter of the Town of Southampton, were added, upon Motion, Mr. Prowse, Sir John Swynnerton, Mr. Gore, Mr. Peak, Sir William Herrick, Mr. Bacchus, Mr. Wallys, Mr. Martin, Mr Brook, Mr. Holland, Mr. Hugh Middleton, Mr. Robert Middleton, Mr. Chapman, Mr. Jenvey, Mr. Lawley, the Burgesses of Southwark, the Burgesses of all Port Towns: - To meet, with the rest, on Wednesday next, in the Middle Temple Hall.

Cloth Trade.

L. 3a. An Act for the true Making of Woollen Cloths. Much Dispute, by the Burgesses of Clothing Counties, and Towns; as, Mr. Bryers, Sir Herbert Crofts, Sir Henry Poole, Mr. Hoskins, Mr. Hadds, Sir Geo. Moore, Sir Roger Owen, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Pembridge, Sir Edward Grevill, Mr. Tate, Mr. Bond.

At length it was conceived fit to be amended in the last Proviso ; and so grew to a Question for Re-commitment ; and resolved, upon the Question, to re-commit it for that Point.

Injuries from Spaniards.

A Report from the Committee touching the Merchants Petition for Redress of Spanish Wrongs, called for; and affirmed, that it was laid upon Sir Edwyn Sandys to make Report; and he was appointed to perform it on Wednesday next.

Marshalsea Court.

L. 3a. An Act for Reformation of Abuses in the Court of Marshalsea, and for the Limitation of the same : - Thirdly read; the Point of the Jurisdiction argued by Mr. Noy, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Diett, Mr. Pembridge; and, upon Question, passed.
